I know that there are many people out there who dream of having that gorgeous hair they’ve always seem in magazines or on the heads movie stars. Not to mention those rare group of people who you may see in public. If you’ve like me and ever stopped someone with beautiful hair to asked them what they did to get their hair so nice? They never seem to give a straight answer. Maybe they were trying to keep what they were doing a secret to the masses? Is it because they wouldn’t be admired for their hair anymore? Or maybe they just don’t know themselves and think they were just born gorgeous hair? I’m here to spill the beans, these people you see on TV, in magazines, movies, and even on the street all may seem to have come upon their beautiful hair effortlessly but you can have that same or even better head of hair without effort as well. Just by choosing the right foods your hair will change dramatically for the better.
It’s just that simple yet so many don’t know this century old secret. If you feed your hair what it like’s, it will give you the hair you will love. Not to mention the overall health of your body you will achieve at the same time. We all have to eat anyway, just choose foods that are beneficial to your hair and before you know it you will be getting those compliments on your hair that you never dreamed of receiving from anyone. But know you can tell them how to achieve it. Hair thrives on certain key elements such as Water– drink at least 8 to10 glasses, 8 ounce servings a day. Protein – eat chicken, turkey, fish, dairy products and eggs. Vegetarian sources are legumes and nuts. Iron – you can find iron in animal products such as red meat, chicken and fish provide iron. Vegetarians can include lentils, spinach and other leafy green vegetables such as broccoli, kale and salad greens. Vitamin C – great sources of vitamin C are black currants, blueberries, broccoli, guava, kiwi fruits, oranges, papaya, strawberries and sweet potatoes. Omega-3 – oily fish such as salmon, herring, sardines, trout and mackerel and plant sources including avocado, pumpkin seeds and walnuts. Vitamin A – animal products and orange/yellow colored vegetables which are high in beta-carotene (which makes vitamin A) such as carrots, pumpkins and sweet potatoes. Zinc and selenium – Fortified cereals and whole grains are a good source of zinc along with oysters, beef and eggs. Vitamin E – Nuts or capsules. Biotin – whole grains, liver, egg yolk, soy flour and yeast. Flaxseed – 1 to 2 tablespoons daily in liquid or in a gel-capsule form. The actual seeds can be blinded and used shakes, cereal, or breads.
